Tucker Day Report/Tucker County Community Corrections opened in July 2010 and is located in Parsons, West Virginia. Tucker County Community Corrections is committed to providing supervision, the necessary structure and guidance, and an array of services for our local community.
In 2018, Tucker County Community Corrections expanded and created Tucker Day Report, which is dedicated to providing behavioral health services to the local community and surrounding areas. Tucker Day Report implements evidence-based practices proven to positively impact recovery in all areas. Tucker Day Report provides outpatient services for substance use and co-occurring diagnoses to anyone, regardless of ability to pay. We also assist individuals in getting into inpatient rehabilitation or detoxification programs.
Tucker Day Report provides on-site and telehealth behavioral health services such as individual therapy, eye-movement desensitization reprocessing therapy (EMDR), psychoeducational groups, and recovery support groups. Tucker Day Report also partners with various agencies in order to offer additional services and ensure all treatment needs are met. Among these services are cognitive-behavioral gender-specific trauma groups, psychiatric services, employment services, DUI classes, education assistance, and more.
In 2023, Tucker Day Report implemented programming to address the needs of individuals who have a history of sexual offending. Tucker Day Report began providing empirically based assessment and treatment to these individuals to increase their ability to live adaptive, non-abusive lives with the ultimate goal of making communities safer. Tucker Day Report has worked collaboratively with other correctional agencies in order to enhance risk reduction and risk management efforts.
